The lighting installation, which was completed on April 31st, 2017, is a result of a collaboration between Philips Lighting and its partners, The Sun Group and Olympia Co., Ltd. The project features Philips ColorReach Powercore Gen2, Philips ArchiPoint 25W, and Philips iColor Powercore technology, ensuring an energy-efficient and cost-effective solution.

What sets the Nhật Tân Bridge apart is its unique ability to change colors, creating a mesmerizing display of over 16 million different hues. This feature allows the bridge to be lit in special colors to commemorate events and holidays, making it a popular tourist destination and a symbol of Hanoi's cultural heritage.

The new architectural lighting illuminates not only the five majestic spans but also the cables that run high above the bridge, creating a visually stunning effect each night. The bridge's design is inspired by the city's ancient gates, with its five colorful spans representing the five gates to this capital city.
